Things happened with my job couldn't afford my pills right away. Things have been extremely stressful between the husband and myself. I am SO sorry I have been so quiet on here...it has been so busy and a real adjustment with our little man! Gage Joseph arrived at 9:06 am on February 27th. I was scheduled for induction that morning and had gone in the morning prior for the cervical gel. Almost immediately I began cramping! I was supposed to come back in at 3pm (this was about 8:30am) for a second dose so I went home and sat in the tub until then because I was having some pretty uncomfortable cramping every 8 minutes or so. When I returned to the hospital it was decided that I didn't need the second gel. I was 3 centimeters dilated and favourable for induction the next morning. We went home and around 6:30pm I heard a pop...then felt the trickle of fluid. Wasn't sure if I was peeing myself, lol, so I went to sit on the toilet and every time I pushed more fluid came out. Decided that it was definitely my water and almost immediately the cramps got more intense and came about every 4 minutes. We rushed to the hospital as this being my first, I was paranoid...especially since a couple had given birth in their vehicle on the side of the highway directly in front of our house the month prior (it was in the middle of the night so we didn't know until we read it in the local paper). We arrived at the hospital, I was put in a room on monitors and all of a sudden the pains were no longer coming at regular intervals but they were very uncomfortable. At this point they told me I wasn't in labour (I didn't and still do not agree with this...I was in labour) and I could go home if I wanted and come back for 8 in the morning for the actual induction. I knew better and decided to stay but sent my husband home to get a few hours of sleep so he was rested for the long day ahead. This was about 10:00pm. When he left, the pains started to become more regular again (about every 5 minutes) and they were getting more painful. The nurse checked me again and I was not quite 4 centimeters dilated. About 2:00am I went to sit in the jet tub to ease the pain until about 4:00am and when I came out, she checked me again and I was at 5cm. I called my hubby to come back and asked for the epidural which they said I could not get until 5c and she wanted me to try the pain meds first. They did take the edge off but not by much. At almost 7:30 the nurse (a new one as shift had changed) checked me and I was 7.5cm and told it was too late for the epidural (I am still pi$$ed about this!!). The pain was unreal. I have never felt anything like that before!! Contractions continued at about every 2 minutes or so and at about 8:00am she told me to roll on my side because the baby's heart rate was going a bit low. No joke...the moment I moved to my side, I felt the urge to push. I told the nurse, she checked me and I was 10!! They got the bed ready and at 8:30 or so I started pushing. There were moments I felt like I couldn't do it....it was unbelievable..but with that last big push at 9:06 am, our beautiful boy emerged. We were very, very lucky because after he was born the doctor told us the cord was very long and had a knot in it....that could have been tragic...her exact words were "Go out and buy a lottery ticket because you are very, very lucky". I had second degree tearing so she spent some time stitching and I was able to go home Friday morning (this was Wed morning). I still can't believe he is here. The first few weeks were very hard....he has reflux and very bad gas issues but it seems to be getting better. I am breastfeeding as well and he ate every 2 hours for the first 2 months...!! We had some newborn pics done. Here he is at 11 days.

We spent a night in hosp again on the 7th for iron anemia,she had a blood transfusion. other wise we are doing fabulous,kids love... (not complaining :) Now I know 7 dpo is way early to have any morning sickness and I have been on Progesterone many times in the past without this side effect but I have two questions:

1) Has anyone had (BFN and) dry heaves as a result of being on Progesterone? Or as a side effect of HCG?

Am in the 2ww!!! http://www.babytalkzone.com/f48/crazy-update-am-2ww-99245/ Wed, 08 May 2013 15:26:21 GMT Ok, so my sono showed the follicle was still there and based on the sono results I was told it probably wouldn't rupture this cycle and that it looked like I had not O'd. BUT THEN they got my b/w results (which were taken after the sono) and based on my hormone levels they said there was a good chance that I did O at some point on the May 6th! So crazy, right? This has been a strange cycle. Anyway, they are not taking any chances and started me on progesterone immediately. I may now be 2 dpo. And they want me to go in for a pregnancy test May 20th. The nurse said she even had a hard time hearing the blood flow as if it was flowing slow. I called the dr and her recommendations were to drink more water and eat more frequently. I am already eating every two hours and drink a ton. With allow this, I have also had lower fetal movement, which makes me nervous. Yesterday, I ate a lot of salty foods and was able to get it up to normal by bed time and was feeling better. This morning, I am the same as yesterday! Bp is back down and I am super dizzy with low fetal movement. Doc seemed unconcerned. Should I go in if this continues?
