Thread: my hubby and my daughter...

my daughter was the same and actually asked for a baby sister on her second birthday (it so didnt happen!! not that we were trying!) she carried on bugging us for 2 years and when i actually fell pregnant with our second child she was over the moon! she was 5 when i had her and we included her in evrything she was able to understand such as looking at clothes,toys for the baby and helping to get babies room ready xx i was really worried she would get jealous and struggle with it (altho my partner has children from another marriage we dont see them alot unfortunately) but she has been the best big sister and helper i could have asked for!! x i think children adapt no matter what their age xx

my daughter is very keen to beable to care for a baby, since she cant have a pet lolz.....i think i will take ur advice...get her involved in everything when the time comes.

yea my daughter loves to help x whether its getting clothes from her room or getting her a nappy (diaper) x altho a baby was always on the cards its the best thing we ever done xx i luv both my girls and am extremely lucky that so far they seem to b getting on so well xx my lo is just starting to babble and she can nearly say her sisters name which of course made my eldest day!!
