Nathans didnt match lol. I wasnt going to buy a whole new bedding set jsut to buy another new one later.
For those of you who bought a toddler bed or had a crib that converted to a toddler bed, how long was your toddler actually in it before you moved them to a regular sized bed? The new bedroom suite that I'm getting for Matthew will have a crib that converts to a toddler bed, then to a full sized bed. I found some really cute bedding at Pottery Barn Kids, but it only comes in twin or full-sized bedding. The crib bedding he has right now will absolutely NOT match the color of his new bedroom and DH really doesn't want to paint the room. I hate to buy him new crib bedding to match the room, only to turn around and have to buy him full-sized bedding a few months or a year later. What would you do? Leave his unmatching crib bedding as is until he moves to a big-boy bed? Or go ahead and buy new crib bedding to match the new room?![]()

I wouldn't buy another set just to turn around and do it again in a few months.....Were buying new furniture for the boys too, and honestly I'd like to skip the whole toddler bed for Delsin but I'm not sure it's possible....so I'm gonna be in the same boat as I'm a stickler about matching too....
Oh and Aleah was in a toddler bed till 4, she was a peanut....Cohen is in a toddler bed but should do fine in a twin I'm guessing...hoping actually![]()
We had Jillian move from a toddler bed to a twin bed just recently - she'll be 5 in December. When we moved Jill into her new twin we moved Austin from his crib to a toddler bed - he'll turn two August 6th (he'll be 2). We had each kid pick out their theme. My daughter is all about Dora the Explorer and Austin chose Toy Story (Buzz is his favorite).

AJ was in his toddlers bed from march 2008-junish 2009 so over a full 12 months!!!!! Lauryn had one like matthews...it was a convertable that we made a toddler bed/day bed...she was in that from april 2009-March 2010 so almost a year for her as well....
If it were me I would buy a new set...lol :o)
We bought Lachlan a crib sized race car bed when he was 2 and he was in it until he was 5. You use the same mattress form the crib in the Little Tykes race car (they have two sizes).
I hate not having matching stuff either.
I'd buy new bedding for the toddler bed as you can always use it again for the next baby (if it's a boy).
