    there are only a couple brands of polish deemed safe in kids, the others have toxic chemicals. One is a dept store brand, I forget which, and the other is that stuff Ashley mentioned. They are very susceptible to neurotoxins at young ages. The thought "no harm done that I see" isn't valid, you can't see subtle neurological damages. Just use the approved ones if u do it.

    I didnt allow Elín to wear polish on her finger nails until she was 3 and half years when she got some for christmas

    I also just wanted to add, i only paint toe nails, never fingers.
    One i dont like it and two the risk of putting fingers in the mouth etc.

    I was holding Kaylee and she was kicking me and I looked at her toes and thought about this thread. Im going to try painting them tomorrow, I might wait until nap time though lol

    I have a hard time keeping my own toes looking presentable anymore, I barely get time for my own pedis, Abby can wait lol.

    I do Ella's if she asks - but it's a 'treat' for her. Only since she was around 2.5 as well.

    But if you want to, I don't see the harm I can imagine trying to do Evie's though, the polish would end up half way up her legs!
