Potty training HELP!
Ok we are on day 2 of undies with Viv. She seems interested will sit on the potty if I ask and has been waking up dry from her naps. She has even said a few times potty and will occasionally pee on the potty before bed.
So, I put her in undies yesterday. The morning was pretty good. A few successes and 1 miss. Then the afternoon went down hill FAST! She woke up dry from her nap but then that was it. She had nothing but accidents despite me taking her to the potty every 15 min.
So I thought stick with it the first day is always the worst and today will be better. I'm so grouchy today that I don't even want to try. But I have been taking her to the potty every 15 min and we are still at ZERO success. She has had 2 accidents on the floor. But each time cries and says dirty. This last time she had just been on the potty for 10 min and nothing she puts back on her undies and in a min they are soaked. I aske her to put on a pull up and she says no. I really think she WANTS to do it but I'm getting frustrated and tired. I need a break!!
Any tips tricks or help would be helpful!!

It is so hard and frustrating,maybe she is not quite there yet!? Would she respond to a sticker chart,I never used one but people do have success with charts. Alex is nowhere near ready yet sadly as I would love to be totally done with nappies.
I know though they will only do it when 100% ready,ignore that girls are easier though phrase everyone says as it is rubbish lol!!
I hope she is just having an off day x

Thank you!I tried M&M's and she throws a woobly when she doesn't get one. I think she gets that she is peeing and I think she gets the idea that it's supposed to be in the potty but maybe not connect the 2? I think I'll put undies on when she wakes up (naptime!!) and go for the rest of tomorrow and see what happens. I think she is ready but maybe not?!

My friend had great success with a sticker chart! Good luck, from what I hear potty training can be very frusturating!

WIth Alyssa the only thing that worked was to go bottomless.. she'd pee in anything that was on!! Maybe she's just not 100% ready.. Good luck hun!

i would also try a sticker chart x i used one on phoebe and she was great with it x sweets didnt work on her!! x

we were the same as Kelly, the only way that Aaron had anymsuccess was to go naked from the waist down during the day. When we went out we put a pull up on and then through time we dropped the pull up altogether. Sticker charts worked at first but I'll be honest the nursery rushed us before he was ready and its taken ages! I say wait untill she is 100% ready!!!!!

Thanks girls. If she isn't ready she is really close. I had put a pull up on at naptime and she woke up dry. So we tried. And then a little while later she started grabbing herself and had peed her pull up. So I think she knows that she is going or when she has gone but maybe not the sensation that she has to go?

DONT GIVE UP! She will get used to it..in the meantime just keep cleaning up those messes! After a few days it will be so much easier!!!!
