Getting things rolling.

Hi girls! Just got word from my OBGYN and he wants me to go for blood and also wants me to book my ultrasound for sometime next week. He wants to see me on July 26th.
If I made my appointment for next Thursday, I would be about 6 weeks 6 days or so. What are the chances of them seeing a HB without having to do a transvag?

I would say the chances wouldn't be all that great without doing the transvaginal at that early. I saw mine at 5 weeks 5 days, 6 weeks 1 day, 7 weeks 3 days, all by transvag. They didn't even try to use the regular sono until my 8 week appt. I just assumed they did the transvaginal at all those instead of the regular to make sure they saw everything they needed to see that early.

So far mine have been transvaginal and I'm thinking mine on Friday will also be. I'd rather it be that way, tbh. More likely to see what they need to see which is less stress on me bc otherwise I'll be convinced somethings wrong!

I had an abdominal.at exactly 7 weeks with axle and saw.him and his HB all my successful pregnancies I've never had a TVUS - good luck x

Great news. I think your odds are so so at seeing a heartbeat that soon. Quite likely too soon, though, so don't worry if you can't!

I had the transvaginal ones up til 13 weeks with all 3 of mine. Didn't get the stomach one until 20 weeks. Im saying prayers for you!!

I'm so excited for you to get things rolling! Remember you can refuse the u/s if you want. I think it is way too early to be checking for a heartbeat.

never had tvus with any of mine n u cud c hb with phoebe at 7 wks 2 lily at 8 weeks n little man was 10 weeks but must add im v slim so that may have helpd x cant wait to see pics hun xx excited for u xx
