Thread: i feel so guilty

Oh hun you're such a wonderful mother to Lilli and I'm sure she won't even give it a second thought once she's into her new routine and gets to love on that baby! I haven't been in your shoes yet, but I'm sure the feelings you are having right now are perfectly normal. Hang in there, your little one will be here soon and not only will you be in love but so will Lilli!

Aww honey don't feel guilty! Of course you're tired - you're 9 months pregnant! I think all of us worry about what's going to happen to our first-borns, but she's going to be just fine! And I'm sure she's going to love her little sister to BITS!

tryto just relax i know easier said than done. but all will be good and fall into place once the new baby is born. =)

First of all you are NOT a horrible mom! There is nothing wrong with wanting your baby in your arms.

Second, neither of your girls will resent you. Yes it's goign to be different for Lili but kids are so resilent (sp?) they adapt well to change. She will not understand at first but in a week or two you (and she) won't remember what it was like to only have one!

i agree with Lacey. I could not wait for Emma to come. I was in so much pain and just wanted her out.

Lilli will never remember anything but the two of them. The first few days she might be a little confused, try to set aside special time for just u and her after they baby comes. I also let Kayla "help" alot. She likes to help change Emma diaper, give her a bottle and burp her. She feels like a big girl i think. I did notice the more i told Kayla no don't touch emma , the more she came at her. Now i just say do nice and she is really good with her.

i appreciate all your help. its just such a weird feeling. i know she will be wonderful with Bailie, but I just worry about EVERYTHING, from me leaving her to go to the hospital, it will be my second time away from her then coming home with a new baby. i know its everyones worries but it is just now really hitting me that these are the last days of her being my only baby!!

Lilli is young and will adapt to the new change in lifestyle very quickly! And there is nothing wrong with wanting to hold your baby already. I bet you felt that way about Lilli too! Its natural, you are done with pregnancy and you are ready to hold the new baby. Dont worry eveyrthing will adjust quickly!
