Went to the doctor today, a little good news, some more bad. Last month, I had the 1 hour glucose test, a Rhogam shot and they told me my iron level had dropped from 11.3 to 10.4 and to start taking 3 iron pills a day. But there was alot of sugar in my urine, and my sugar level was on the line last month, so next week, I have to take the 3-hour glucose test.

Plus, now I have to see the doctor every 2 weeks.

Has anyone else had to take the 3 hour glucose test? What was it like?

Well, I'm your gestational diabetes specialist, LOl, unfortunatly. I never had to take the 3 hr test b/c I failed the 1st one sooo bad. I'm on 4 shots a day of insulin, it stinks, I'll trade ya anyday and I'll atke your iron pill, lol. When is your due date?

Luckily, they didn't have to draw blood from my arm. They just pricked my finger each time. So, now I have 4 holes in my fingers.

I won't know the results until I go back to the Dr. on Tuesday.

I feel like a human pin cushin. Serioulsly, I hope u dodge the diabetes.

That makes 2 of us. Granted, taking the iron pills are a pain, but it's not the end of the world if I forget. If you forget, it can lead to serious problems, right? Sorry you have to go through something like that!

Good news! The tests came back negative!!

My midwife said everything looks fine and I go back in 2 weeks.

I bet everyone is very excited. It's our month finally. I'm Due on the 21st and i can't wait. Only 10 days to go.

I too am very very ready for this to be over with. I technically have 12 days left, but hoping something will happen this weekend with the full moon! Here's hoping!

HAve you dropped that baby yet? I had my on the 12th YEAH!!!

Two weeks early, and he is beautiful!!! If you havent had your baby yet I hope they get here very soon.

Nope, I'm still pg. He's dropped some, and when I went to the Dr. today, I'm dialated a half cm. Whoopie.

A whole half cm. It feels like I've been pg forever! But, I only have 1 week left.

BTW, I saw your post about having your baby...CONGRATS!!
