Thread: July '11 mama's - first appt

You need a pregnancy ticker! Good luck at your appointment....my doc gave me one at 7 weeks with this pregnancy!

I got an appt through for 13th December but I have an exam in work that day so can't make it so I am still waiting for another appt to come through! I hope it not too long!

Looby, I hope you can get in sooner! I am anxious to hear about everyone's appointments. What can I say? I am a busybody!! lol

My first appt an ultrasound was at 6wks4days did a ultrasound saw two ges sacs and two yolk sacs TWINs... however there was no fetal poles or heartbeats butt my dr said it was possibly to early an that i may have been dating wrong an actucally not have been 6wks5day but it was common w twins....I have another appt an ultrasound on monday dec 6th soooo fingers crossed

Did they measure the sac sizes to get a date?

They did, But my doctor said at this point (or that point) that everything looked normal for that stage, and that i could have Ovulated Later or had a longer cycle that month,,

I think especially with Twins, the doc wouldn't mess around giving advice, or saying this is normal etc if it wasn't.... i bet the guy checked and double checked haha... i can't wait for Monday for you to get your next scan... SOOO exciting, and everything will be fine fine fine... i dreamt it remember :)


I haven't even had my booking appt yet :S... Thursday this week i'll have it then i still need to wait for a scan appt.... I'm hoping before Xmas, but it's not looking good... i just wanna "see" so i know everything is ok... my symptoms have all gone, which i know.. I KNOW is normal.. this is number 3 i should be more relaxed... but i still will feel at ease when i know everything is ok!!
