    Talking Ob/gyn Appointment

    Hey guys,

I got a ob/gyn appointment tomorrow. He told me we should try a year to get pregnant and then go back to see him. A year has passed now and its time. Lets hope we can figure out if the chemo did any damage three years back.

Any suggestions on questions I should ask him. Have a little list. Just wanna see if I'm missing anything.

Thanks for the help you guys have already been, and the help I hope you can be when I fall .

Hope everyone's havin a good morning, afternoon, evening.

    to me

    What's on your list now?

What have you been doing the last year?

When I asked about it, I was told that they'd do some tests to make sure his sperm was abundant and mobile and then some compatibility tests (?) between us. I have (had?) a short luteal phase, so they figured they'd need, I think it was, chlomid. Fortunately, I guess, when we decided to try, it happened right away, so we didn't need to actually do anything special.

    Good luck!

Well we haven't really been doing anything special the past year. I have been tracking my cycle but not fanatically and we obviously did the BD on a regular basis and specially in the middle of my cycle. I didn't want to stress myself out about it too much.

    My list thus far:

-My cycle became irregular during chemo but has steadily been stabilising, anything more i can do to help that along?
-I get a yeast infection very easily when i take antibiotics, how can i better combat and avoid it?
-Hubby had a vericoselectomy two years ago, referral for a sperm count?

You can lessen the occurrence of yeast infections by eating less sugar, cheese, and bread. Wear loose (or at least not tight) cotton undies. Don't douche. You can try cranberry pills or juice, but generally the juice has too much sugar and not enough of the good stuff. Yogurt or milk with acidophilis (sp?).

I'm not sure what you can do to make your cycles regular, but I also don't think it's an issue, if you're ovulating. If you're not ovulating, I dunno, sorry.
