Same as Clomid but without the side effects and it also doesn't thin your lining like Clomid can.

I have heard of it and I did ask about it but he says he starts with Clomid. Not sure why. He said the estrogen will help with the lining...sure, throw another hormone in there...why not?? Ugh. I see him again in Sept.

What I really need right now are some clomid success stories...particularly if you know of clomid working when she was already ovulating on her own...or unexplained infertility, or repeat miscarriage.

Aww Jo. It all sounds awful. I hope you don't have to do it too many times to either get a BFP or move to a different drug. The clomid really sounds terrible. I never took it. The estrogen made me slightly b*tchy- especially when I was nearing ovulation time. It was really not helpful in putting me in the mood at all.

When I did IUIs, I took a med called Puregon. In the states they call it Follistim. It was an injectable and I really felt very few side effects. I always felt the most side effects from the Progesterone, with an HCG shot coming in a close second.

I super hope you get a BFP from this!!!!

Ohh hun i so hope this is your month for your BFP.............I remember all those days with these hormone meds...........always on a verge to pounce on dh......poor dh!!

Fingers crossed that this is your month. I'm so sorry that you are going through this! Sounds like a lot of meds for someone who is ovulating on her own...but whatever it takes, right? Hope you are feeling better and that you don't get anymore treats with candies on them.
