Thread: Cleaning How does everyone do it ??

2 maids and a nanny! LOLOLOLOLOLOL

I have a semi routine..

As you can imagine my laundry is of amazing quantities. I do laundry every other day. I bleach kitchen and hoover all the floors (tile and wood) every day. I polish and do the bathrooms every other day.. on the days I don't do laundry!

IF I don't keep TOTALLY on top of it my house can be a MASSIVE poo-hole within 2 days.

Sorry, I'm no help, all I seem to do is cook and clean and there's never an end to it

sammy i can imagine your laundry.... i thibk its bad enough doing 3 peoples lol

terri we will just have to go mad together lol

Just keeping on top of it is the answer I guess,I am like Sammy a big household that if it gets more than a couple of days behind looks like a hurricane has swept through!!!

It is finding a happy medium between down time and chores,although I do try to have an extra whip round on a Friday so the weekend doesn't have to be ruiined by laundry and such.

Vick, isn't it amazing how fast it happens? I am serious, if I leave it just TWO days it is awful. Not just talking toys and stuff on the floor.. my bathrooms are gross - toothpaste spit, dirty showers.. kitchen will be FULL of pots, floors dirty. It can look like it hasn't been cleaned in about a month!

Its been nice for me becauase DH is out of town so I've been living in my own filth. He is coming home tonight and I'm looking aroudn panicked! I have some major cleaning to do!!!!!!!!!!!!

It drives me insane,I have only just got back to normal mode after the kids being ill and me falling behind,for a couple of days it was hell on earth because I left the cleaning 3 whole days due to processing a ton of sicky laundry from the little ones. Oh toothpaste splats in the sink is one of my pet hates,I am so glad I dont share a bathroom with the kids

I mopped our hall and kitchen tiles late yesterday and said to Keith earlier my god I washed that damn floor last night,although at least with wood and tiles I can mop everyday and not have the ick of carpet,carpet 4 kids and 5 cats no way!!!!
