Im going to be taking Online classes this april and i took a few in high school...they are easier to me....Im getting my classes paid for by the government....do they have any financial aid over there? Im not sure if they do but if they do its a big help....Its gonna be interesting doing the classes and taking care of everything else i have to but i'll manage....i know there will be alot of time spent on homework ect after lil man goes to sleep....and when your looking into a class try to find one to where you dont have to be online at a certain time....that way you can do what you need to do whenever....thats what im doing good luck!

i'm doing classes similar to this at the moment. I have scheduled times where i sit down and do the work. I also make DP take Ella out once every couple of weeks on a saturday or something so i have some extra time. I tend to do the work when ella's sleeping or now i'll do it when she's at preschool.

if you're determined enough you can do it!

well it sounds like you'd have the time to do it then. I really enjoy my study - it makes me feel like i'm doing something worthwhile for me, plus i get to learn new stuff that ISN'T baby related, and i get to talk to people that are in the real world.

I've made a good friend who is doing the same course as me and we now speak on the phone regularly, she lives in the same city as me and we get together for study every now and then as well...

i have two online courses at the moment and one on campus, I dont honestly think they are any easier than taking classes at a school, with the online classes we have loads of disscusions and tons more assignments. And most of the material you have to teach yourself since you dont sit there and listen to lectures, so its harder when you wanna ask questions about the material. It is hard to manage your time, i mostly do stuff when Serenity is sleeping for the night. Id say go for it tho!

i found that the course material they have online is really helpful, and we get a lot of contact with tutors as well, so i don't often feel like i'm teaching myself... it all depends on your learning style i think. its worth trying one and seeing how you feel about it, some people suit the on campus style better.

Hey Em, I looked into some online courses in human biology before I started at night class.

I felt that they were so expensive, and if you have an exam to do at the end, you have to find a school that would be willing to let you sit the exam when they are doing it. The online course was about £250 and then £70 for the exam.

I did a bit of looking about at colleges and found that the exact same course at nightschool was actually free and I only had to pay the £70 to register for my exam.

It might be worth your while seeing what night classes are available round your way. The other thing that is good about that is that you have to go to class so you have at least 3 hours a week dedicated to your course, and if it was left up to me to self study completely, i probably would never find the time.

Let us know how you get on and good luck!
