I wonder the same thing i wish i could help you my boyfriend and I have been trying for about 3 mos now and someone told me that if you wanna get pregnant that after you have sex dont pee and lay on the bed with your legs up and dont stand up this person has 2 kids and she swears that she tried to get pregnant with her daughter for 3 years and was told to do this and conceived her daughter that same night i havent been able to find out if it works or not concering my boyfriends out of town right now can someone please let me know if any of you have heard of this working i was also told to stand on my head but i dont see that happening

Getting your period every month does not mean that you ovulate. The best way to tell what is going on is to chart your basal body temperature and use ovulation prediction kits. This lets you know that the LH kicked in prior to ovulating, and also lets you see the elevated temperatures after you've ovulated.

I just wrote to someone else about not standing up. You can wait about 15 minutes before getting up to pee, then it is fine. During that fifteen minutes, you may want to elevate your hips on a pillow to use gravity to get the sperm as close to the cervix as possible. Also, you want to avoid woman on top or standing position while trying to conceive. I'm with you, though, I wouldn't stand on my head either. LOL!!!

wanna be mommie, I've been trying a little longer than you have, but still have not yet been successful in falling pregnant, I know what you were saying not going to toilet and having your legs up high, I've been doing that also but nothing yet, or I didn't have my leg up high enough, so I can't tell you if this method works or not, but be it's part of trying to get pregnant. Elleth, it's hard for me to take my BBT with shift work, as it's abit hard to get up the same time to measure my temperature. I have read the web site information you suggested, I also have read in another web site that gave almost the same information, maybe I will try out some of those and see how things go.

You can still chart when you work shifts. It is a little harder to read, but the main thing is make sure you are asleep for three hours before you take your temperature, and note the time. You'll need to compare standard times based on the shift, but it does work.

just an idea, often times with regards to wanting to become pregnant couples get too stressed out abou the biological side and forget about the fun, relaxed and animal side. i am a reflexologist and would advise those of you planning a pregnancy to have a few sessions as it will relax you and make your chances greater for a good result !!

Hey everyone sorry its took so long to get back to you but i did try the no peeing and legs up thing dont know if it worked yet its been almost 2 weeks so we will see but thanks for the advice and good luck everyone
