Has Any One Ttc Tried Eggwhites?

Hi there pips,
just wanna share this with you all here TTC..
Have you tried using eggwhites?you see,doctors advice is to stop using artificial lubrication in order for the sperm to stay longer or just to keep them alive..Well,my cousing was ttc last year,and instead of using lubricants,they use eggwhites for it..And luckily,she got the BFP!!!
Oh well, the question is "is it really effective?"or "does it help the thing alive for longer?".
Just like you guys,i'm hoping for a BFP this february.i'm O this 24..Oh God,please send us an angel...

I'd be weary of using any raw animal products to conceive. . .Raw eggs can carry diseases.

There is a lubricant that is called Pre-seed, that is supposed to be much better for sperm than other lubricants that can just form a barrier. If I were you I'd try that instead

Well,haven't tried it..just wanna know if anyone here has tried.know what? i think you're right using raw material such as this eggwhites might carry diseases..

I have heard of it, but never tried it. Supposedly egg-whites do not hurt sperm. Pre-seed seems much safer because of the potential for diseases with egg-whites. Other lubricants, including saliva, can damage or kill sperm.

I have heard of it as well - well actually read about it online - I am not sure I would try it though. I would ask your dr before using egg whites. I agree with the other posts - try using pre-seed. But no you are not "out in left field" there is information about using egg whites on the net..........but not sure how safe or effective it is.

Hi,

No, hear of using olive oil as well - but personally I wouldn't use it without doing some research or talking to a dr.
I think that pre-seed is probably the best & is compatible with sperm & your body.
