Thread: Pls advise: Period or Implantation Bleeding...

Its hard to say, but if its an unusual cycle, then it could be implant bleeding, or it could be just an unusual cycle, and you're coming down with a bug of some kind!

Have you done a HPT?

I'd start with that (make sure you test first thing in the morning) and if that come up neg then i'd head along to the doctor as you may be coming down with something else... and/or they can do a blood test to confirm pregnancy.

I agree with Karen. Take a test first and then contact our doctor either way. I hope it was an implantation bleed and that you have a Christmas

I'm alot more worried now - my cycle is pretty regular always. So what do you think it could be?

I dont have a HPT - do you think I should give it couple of more days to see how I feel before I go to a Doc?

You said I may be coming down with some kind of bug - what would that mean? What are the options?

Its probably nothing to worry too much about... It sounds like it COULD be an implantation bleed, but i dont want you to quote me on that as i'm not a doc...

I'd get yourself a HPT first, do that and if its positive then you know exactly whats wrong - you're suffering from pregancy symptoms!!

failing that it could just be the flu or something...

first off i'd do your HPT first thing in the morning, and then either way, go see your doc for a blood test to confirm your HPT, and to discuss what else it could be.

I don't think its anything to worry about - i hope its your BFP for christmas!

I took a HPT sometime back (around 8.00 PM) and its negative... Really disappointed - but worried now why I didnt get my AF properly... Also I have been feeling sleepy and tired last few days...

Pls advise...

You might want to wait until the morning when your HCG levels are at their strongest. If it still comes back neg and you still have not gotten AF, then I DEFINITELY would contact your doctor and make an appt. Good luck!! Keep us posted!

Hi, thanks for replying.. tha reason Im confused is Im not sure if I've got my period or not. It was expted on 17th Dec and I did have bleeding but much lesser than my usual (1st day was lil less, and 2nd / 3rd day just few spots in the day). So I'm not sure of this is AF or implantation bleeding???

Also, one more question if you can help: how many days after AF can a test be surely accurate?
