But what if you are two weeklate and preg test still - what can this mean

Signs of Being Pregnant
How can you tell if you are pregnant? There are a number of signs to watch for. Each pregnancy is different, and chances are you will only experience a portion of the signs. Some of the signs require that you chart your basal body temperature daily.
The first noticeable sign occurs when your baby implants causing your temperature to drop. Implantation bleeding can occur 8-10 days after ovulation. This can be pink, red, or brown in color. You may also have lower abdominal cramps.
The next and best sign that you are pregnant is a positive pregnancy test. This test measures the pregnancy hormone hCG in your bloodstream. The most sensitive home pregnancy tests will show a positive result when the hCG levels reach 20, which can happen as early as four days before your period is due, or approximately 10 days after ovulation. To avoid false negatives, the usual recommendation is to wait until 14 days after ovulation before testing.
The next sign is the most common one people notice, a missed menstrual period. For women with a standard 28-day cycle, this will be 14 days after ovulation. Elevated basal body temperatures for 15 or more days will typically accompany the missed period.
If you are lucky, you will not experience the next signs of being pregnant. Morning sickness can begin as early as 2 to 4 weeks after conception and breast tenderness 3 to 4 weeks after conception. Following these signs are vomiting and fatigue at 3-10 weeks after conception.
Food cravings and frequent urination typically begin 1 to 2 months after conception. Further along in your pregnancy, you may experience constipation, lower back pain, and a darkening of the areola. You can feel your baby moving as early as 16 weeks, but for first-time mothers may not feel the baby moving until 20 weeks or more.
It is possible to experience some of the signs and still not be pregnant. For some women, they just “feel” pregnant. It is important that you get you and your baby under a doctor’s care as early as possible, so if you think you might be pregnant, take a home pregnancy test on the first day of your missed period. If you are pregnant, see your doctor as soon as possible, and congratulations!

Hi, buddy.
At two weeks late, typically a pregnancy test should show positive, while there are some that it just takes longer to build up enough hCG. Low hCG levels can be normal, or could signal that something is wrong with the pregnancy.
If you are two weeks late and still showing negative, I recommend you see your doctor right away. He or she can do a blood pregnancy test to confirm if you are pregnant or not, and also check to see if there are any problems.

Hi, Beatrice.to Baby Talk Zone!
A lot of times mothers just 'know' that they are pregnant. Are you having any pregnancy symptoms? Can you take a home pregnancy test or see your doctor? I sure hope you get the girl you are hoping for.

Congratulations Angelmarch, I hope it sticks. I usually have transvaninal ultrasound around 7-8 weeks and you can clearly see the sac and bean like baby then. I wouldn't worry it sounds too early. So good luck for the 19th Sept. I hope it all works out for you. Keep us updated. Sam
