    Default Had my transfer!

    Today was my transfer. The doc transferred two 6 day blastocysts. I didn't ask about the grade of them...I was too nervous. Sometimes having too much knowledge is a bad thing. Had I known the grading, I would have either freaked out or been overly excited. What I do know, because I was able to see them before they went in (they had them blown up on a tv screen) is that they are blasts and the doc had laser hatched them and one was already starting to come out of the shell. The nurse described them to another nurse as "beautiful blasts".

    The procedure was painless but I was a little overwhelmed at the end when the doc shook my hand (legs still up in the air, haha). I just felt like "this is it"!! I watched them go in. What a neat thing! It looked like a shooting star! LOL!

    Anyway, I have to go back in 4-5 days to check my hormones (I think) and then in 10 days is my pregnancy test! Woohoo! This is the time I really need crossed fingers (toes, legs, eyes, etc.) and many prayers. Very positive thinking going on at this house!

    Anita, how long did you stay in bed? Hubby is being really good about this so I will be laid up today and tomorrow but I have to start a new job on Monday. I only have half a day on Monday so I can rest after but I am a little worried.

    Good Luck Carolyn!!! My doc told me rest for three days and taking it easy(no heavy lifting) for the whole 2WW. You should be able to go to work as long as you don't do any heavy lifting.

    YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! CJ, I just KNOW this is it!!!!!!! I know it!!!! I have been keeping you in my nightly prayers (yes, I have been praying every night since I got my BFP) and will continue to do so. I know you are going to get a BFP. I really feel it!!!!!!!!!!!
