I am in a aqua aerobics class and I love it! I was already in the class before I got pregnant and just notified my instructor that I was pregnant and asked if I should do anything different, he suggested making keeping the moves slightly lower instead of really high kicks and maybe less jumping but it is really a low impact aerobics that is ideal for pregnant women! I actually have missed a few classes because of the holidays and Doctor's appointments but I'm looking forward to going back next week! Have fun with it! Is it a pregnancy aqua aerobics because everyone else will be showing off their cute baby bellies too!

I wish I had of done something like that then I would know more women who were like me and have babies near my son age. Good luck mo!

Thanks, I didn't realize that I will meet some girls that maybe I can keep in touch with after the baby is born, good point. B/c you know that when you're pregnant or a mommy of a newborn, you feel like you're the only one in the world going thru what you are at the same time. We feel so alien-ated from the rest of the world. Maybe you can join a new mommy group. I have the YMCA near me which has everything you could think of to join. We are members so every class is free to take.

I have a membership to the y i didnt event hink to see if they have a group like tht there thanks mo!

Do all YMCAs have those classes?

There is one within walking distance of my house so maybe the next time, I'll see about getting into those classes.

How much is a membership there? I've never joined anything like that, so I am totally clueless.

My first ds loved it when I used to swim laps when I was pregnant with him. I used to feel him rolling around inside me!
