Default Riding a Bike to Work

That's still okay, right? From what I've read it's fine, but my mom and my husband are both concerned. I assume it won't be okay once I start getting big, but for now.......

I think that the only concern is that you may have an accident and fall off the bike and hurt your bump. When you are bigger, you probably won't be able to get on it anyway!

That would be my main worry, coming off the thing. I used to ride alot, not while its been cold though. I had a major stack about 2 yrs ago, straight over the handlebars onto my front. It was pretty funny to watch app and i saw the funny side but imagine if i was pregnant!!

The doctor said it's totally okay for now and just not to ride vigorously. I'm relieved, as I expected Korean doctors to be overly protective about such things. It also was good that my husband got to hear that!

as long as your comfortable and your careful hunnie, I'd say keep riding!
When I was pregnant with Samuel I owned a 16.2hh TB 'loopy as you like' ex-racehorse that I rode up untill I was almost 7 months... much to everyone else's disapproval but I knew that as long as I was careful I was fine!

I was expecting a baby but got an angel instead 'cos my bestie's beautiful boy needed one to watch over him & help him grow strong

My beautiful nieces Lillie-Mae & Matilda are playing together in heaven but I see them everyday through the eyes of their gorgeous triplet sister Summer

Actually I rode my bike until a week before my daughter was born. I only fell on one occation early in my pregnancy, I was about 4 months when I flipped over my handle bars. My doc told me about the chances of falling off and said I have to trust my own body and know when to stop because of lack of balance. It is about mile to work and that doesn't count the ride home. I just didn't ride when I wasn't feeling well or hurting. I also baught a gel bike pad for my seat, did wonders! I only stopped the week before becuase of my back bothering me so much during the last week of my pregnancy. My daughter is 13 months old and doing fine. Bike riding is all your choice, just listen to your body when it comes to it. In my case I had no choice, no one to give me a ride and no form of transportation besides the bike or my two feet.

Also here is a REALLY big plus! I was only pushing for about 15 min because of the bike riding! It really speeds up delivery! Not labour though, I was in labor for 36 hours!

Thanks little mama! Great to know! Not sure my husband will like me riding once I start showing, but we'll see.... I think the positives outweight the negatives, as long as one is careful.
