My dr told me I could run. I ran before I got pregnant with Dalton and she told me as long as my body was used to it I could continue to do it. But I was so paraoid I never did. But my dr said go for it!
I didn't start running until after I had Matthew. I don't run as much as a I used to, but I'm still trying to run a couple of miles at least 2-3 days a week. I gained almost 45 lbs with Matthew and I REALLY don't want to gain that much with my next pregnancy. So how much running is safe during pregnancy? Is it safe at all or should I just switch to walking once I become pregnant?![]()
I just recently read about this.. going to look for the link.
Stupid link won't copy..
I can across this while paranoid Gooling a few weeks ago. I will try and find another site.
"The researchers interviewed 92,671 women in the Danish National Birth Cohort and uncovered a surprising three-fold increased risk for miscarriage in women who reported exercising more than seven hours per week, with the strongest association in those that engaged in high-impact exercise. The link was only seen before 18 weeks of pregnancy.
