    Unhappy Gall Bladder Disease?

Has anyone ever had gall bladder disease?? Thinking I have been suffering morning sickness again I went back to the dr after feeling nauseas for over a week now. Well he thinks I may be suffering from gall bladder disease. With an increased risk of this during my pregnancy due to family history, its more than likely it may be that
Only thing is I havent had any pain, but I feel so miserable and unwell. Im just hoping it isnt anything else
It doesnt really "feel" like morning sickness but just wondering if anyone else has had this during pregnancy and if they became unwell with it??

    Angie,

I have to say that I have never had this, but my DH is a general surgeon and this is his expertise. Gallbladder disease usually brings on bouts of pain that almost feels like a heartattack. It runs from your chest to your back. You do get the nausea with it, but it is usually accompanied by alot of pain. If you arent feeling the pain then it may just be hormone related. Alot of times pregnant women get it, but it usually dosent present a problem until after the baby is born. The reason for that is, when you are prego, your galbladder pretty much stops working for the 9 months due to hormones. Then once you deliver and your body gets back to normal it tries to start working again. In that 9 months though when it is not working you can develop stones in there. That is why when it starts working again and starts contracting again it hurts. Good luck, I hope that is not the case for you.

Maybe it is the morning sickness again, or maybe you have a little bit of the flu. As far as the sleeping, I havent been sleeping well either and just feel blah during the day. So maybe it is just those damn pregnancy hormones going wacky again.

Hey Angie, I am sorry that you are still feeling unwell. I hope that they can find out what it is and it is as simple as morning sickness again. Take it easy and I hope you feel better soon. Is your OB going to do more tests to investigate whether it is your gall bladder or not?

If the sickness gets worse or I start to get pain, I have to go back and have an ultrasound - I think. I guess if it just stays the same and doesnt get any worse, we can put it down to pregnancy. It doesnt feel like the sickness I got in the first few weeks, but then I havent experienced this stage of pregnancy before either - so maybe its meant to feel different!
I have also been given the blood tests to have for blood count etc, but that was given to me before I told Dr about the sickness. I guess if Im unwell the blood count may show something?
I feel very dizzy and just nauseas - it definately gets worse when I eat!
