Also docs come in and out of our place every couple of days...and they're friends so if I can't make it out, I know they could.

Ugh. :( I can see how that would be frustrating. I once heard that doctors make their handwriting hard to decipher on purpose so that we don't read what they've written and google it (which we all know is a terrible idea!).
Years of working with teenagers has made me pretty good at deciphering cr@p handwriting, though. Can you take a pic that's a tiny bit less zoomed? I may be able to figure it out for you.
:( Sorry, Stacey. I've been staring from every direction, and I can't seem to get this one. Looks like either a Cl/ Cli or a U to start with, but I can't think of any words that make sense. Possibly some medical term I'm not familiar with...
If you want to try zooming back a wee bit more, it might help, but I'm not sure- it's a toughie.
Wish I could be of more help.
Ok...so I showed it to DH (who has a talent for decoding people's obituaries when they bring them in written on a paper napkin and we have to figure out what they say..lol)...and the way he does it is he compares the letters to others in the paragraph...so we would have a better shot at it if we could see more of the docs writing....unless it's too personal.
Oh...and we actually asked a few of our doc friends about why they write so horribly and they all agreed it was because when in med school, they had to take so many notes so fast, it looked like a scribble....and they got so used to it that it stuck. I can kind of relate, because when I first started my career, my signature was beautiful...now you couldn't even guess it was my name (looks like a docs signature)...and that came from having to sign my name a thousand times a day..lol....a scribble is faster.
So anyway, if you want to scan more of the letter....and will give it to a doc in the next couple of days too.

Yes Jessy, I first thought UIU...but that doesn't really stand for anything that I know of.
