Thread: New and wishing

Hello. My name is Jennifer. I am new to the boards. I am so very much hoping to get pregnant very soon. It was extreamly hard to get my son, and he will be 3 soon, and we have been trying since his birth for the next one, cause we knew how long it would take. I recently had gastric bypass surgery in jan. of this year. and I have lost 105 lbs. The doctors said that would help my infertility was some weight loss. My husband deploys in only a matter of weeks, for our second tour to Iraq. We want to be pregnant before he leaves cause we know this time he will be home in time for the birth, But only bairley. I am so glad my friend reffered me to this board. I look forward to getting to know everyone.

IM NEW TO THIS SITE TOO. ITS GOOD FOR ADVICE ETC.
me and my partner think we are pregnant, havent done the tests yet, but im a week late. im very nervous as this is my first, what was your first pregnancy/birth etc like?
im worrying that ill do something wrong.

This site is great for advice and friendships. I personally don't have any kids yet, but my DH and I are going to TTC in a few months. I think that is really great that you have lost that much weight, congrats! I am sorry to hear that your DH is being sent back to Iraq, I wish him the best. I wish you all of the luck with trying to get pregnant!

Well done you on the weight thing I am still overweight and ttc but it is hard so I know how you feelt. Hope all your hard work pays off. Im too chicken for surgery trying to slim the same old way diet and being more active hoping wanting a baby will spur me on so will see how long it takes. Good luck to you. this site is full of great people with loads of positive attitudes so you will become addicted.

Congrats on the weight loss. You said you have difficulty getting pregnant--have you been diagnosed with any underlying problems like Polycystic Ovary Syndrome that may be adding to the difficulty.
