hmmm i gues you just have to trust in the fact your doctor knows what he is talking about? if it continues i'd be taking him back though.

red blood? If its not red its passing through his digestive track, if it is red i would think its a tear from him trying to go and being constipated. If you arent happy with their answers go to another doctor.

Has he been straining a lot lately??? I agree w/ Brooke if it is red blood then its happening right when the pooh comes out or from pooh'ing! Hope you figure it all out and can relax at the same time! Good Luck!

I agree w/ the blood thing...if it's red it's likely a tear around the rectum from straining and maybe a larger then normal poop. If it continues and seems mucousy then I'd get him back in.

I'm sorry he's having this trouble hon. It's got to be all the more stressful w/ a new one due anytime! Hang in there and hopefully this passes soon.

Push the water and hopefully that helps.

It is bright red blood and the doc said it was from straining. It's really bad timing with the swollen lymph node and all. Thanks girls - you've made me feel much better.
