Exclamation Ready to pull my hair out

Ok, so I tried giving Josiah an earlier bedtime last night because he was so exhausted. I had him asleep in his crib at 8:30 PM and he slept in it till 1 AM. Well, I went over to get him and he was wide awake so I put him in bed with me and he kept fighting with me and moving so I gave him some teething medicine because his mouth has been bothering him for the past few days. Well, that didn't work so I put him in his crib and went to heat up a bottle. Well, hubby has the nerve to get up and yell at me for letting him cry in his crib. Ok, what else am I supposed to do?? He's never going to learn if I just let him get up whenever he wants. I was trying to avoid bringing him in here because I knew if I did he would want to stay up even more. Well, then hubby decides to call me white trash just for letting him cry!! Oh, I am still so p!ssed about that this morning. He doesn't have to wake with him all night long! No, he gets to sleep sound all night, except last night because his crying woke him up! Men are so stupid!! Anyways, Josiah drunk the bottle and went back to sleep after about an hour, only to keep tossing and turning till 8:30 this morning. I'm glad he stayed in the bed that long, but he and I just didn't sleep well at all. Of course, I was so mad after hubby's little comment to me that I couldn't sleep!! Ugh, sorry this is so long, girls. I had to get this out.

WTHeck??? I can't believe he got the nerve to call you that!!! On top of you trying to get him used to his crib you are heavily pregnant!!! The LEAST he could do is help you instead of tearing you down!! I freaking hate it when men do that, why the heck do you have to tear your partner down when what you're SUPPOSED to do is support them. It's so easy for them to sit back and criticize you all day long if they don't have to do any of it. So typical!

OK...I smell a beating coming on....white trash?????? Thats ridiculous. Now I know people say things when they are tired and frustrated but that is a dumb thing to say.
I am sorry you are so tired...the positive side is he stayed in his crib for the night! Stay strong and keep him in his crib!! It is the key to your sanity with 2 children

What?!! Oh my days, how out of order was that?

I know Ry gets mad if I have the cheek to leave Tom whinging for long enough that it wakes him up, even if I've been up with him 20 times previously and he hasn't stirred once AND we're BOTH out to work the next day! That really pis$es me off. But if he ever DARED to say something like that to me, I would kick his as$ and I'm serious! That is completely unnecessary and out of order. Men can be completely inconsiderate, selfish pigs sometimes. What happend to supporting your partner through the rough times? And you need your sleep more... you're pregnant ffs!

Thats awful ! I agree with what the others have said. You are pregnant and he is going to have to help you out with the night wakings more and more, especially when your new baby comes along.

OMGoodness! If DH said that to me, we'd be up the rest of the night 'discussing' the issue! Then he really wouldn't be getting any sleep! That is rediculous. You are very very right...if you don't let him cry it out, he'll never learn and you'll be doing this forever. And I'm sure you've already realized it would be better to fix it now, rather than still worrying about getting up with him and a new baby in a few months.

    Good luck
We lost our 2nd baby on 11/5/10. BUT God has given us a wonderful surprise...

    Ugh men!

Dh gets mad when I bring Layla into the room with me when she wakes up a little earlier than usual bc he's still sleeping. I try to get her to go back to sleep with me, bc I want to sleep in a bit longer but she crys for a bit then goes to sleep. He thinks I'm being rude by doing that. Oh so its ok for him to sleep in but not me!!

I'm so glad Josiah is getting used to his crib. Before you know it, you will be waking up when its daylight realizing that Josiah has slept through the night uninterrupted!
