here is the news ladies so we both have a problem but its small his test showed that he has low count and low mobility and mine showed i have PCOS which can cause you not to ovulate, but here comes some good news it doesnt mean we cant have a baby because we still CAN :))) oh and my insulin wasnt what it should be and that can interfere also but there is a fix!!!! She said that she has alot of hope that clomid will work for us she gave me clomid and metimophin the metimorpin is for the insilin situation i start clomid next month :)) and i start the metimophin today everyday twice a day the clomid i take days 5-9 of my cycle and i have blood work every month on cycle day 23 to check for ovulation!!! She said that she had a couple and they were in the exact situation we are and she put her on clomid and that girl came in this month pregnant so i am very hopeful and so relieved!!!! :)))

Clomid worked for me... 3 times actually :) and I also have PCOS. I've also taken the metformin, but it never made a big differance (I don't have any insulin problems), so we dropped that. Good luck!! I am really glad that you have a plan of "attack" towards your ttc!! Wishing you all the best!

Welcome to the PCOS club! I got pregnant with clomid my first pregnancy, and am currently back on metformin for my insulin resistance. Metformin can cause some nasty gastro side effects, so don't be surprised by that. I'm glad you got answers and I hope that you get pregnant this round! Good luck!

I also have PCOS and am holding my 8 week old baby girl in my arms! I did take metformin for a few weeks. However, I didn't have the insulin issue and I was allergic so we quit taking that. Navywife is right-- it does cause some stomach things at first till your body adjusts so prepare yourself! There is lots of hope for you as lots of women with PCOS on here have babies!
