    Default Success at last!

    This may be a bit premature, but it's a drastic improvement.

    Kendell has went potty on the potty seat 3 times in the last two days!

    She went once last Monday and I didn't want to post about it cause I wasn't sure if it was just a fluke or not. And sure enough, the stubborn little thing refused the rest of the week to even sit on her potty. Then yesterday she started sitting on it again and I looked for some clues and sure enough got her to pee on it. Then a little later that day, the same thing. And again this morning!

    Now, with that said we've had a few accidents, but I definately feel like she's starting the "get it" now. She went to my moms for the rest of the day and to spend the night, but I know my mom will keep working with her so hopefully we will have some more sucess.

    I'm so excited...had to share

    Great news Kari! Sounds like she is getting the hang of it, clever girl.
    Growing up before your eyes!

    We're still at the downright refusal & denial stage! But I'm not concerned,it will happen when it happens. I remember how worried I was about her not walking and now look at her!

    YAY Kendell!

    I wish my Jillian would to that! Like Katie, my Jillian is also in the refusal stage. A month ago Jillian went for a straight week on the potty and I thought WOW..she's doing it! Then..all of a sudden she just started telling DH and I no...and then running off to dirty her pull-ups/panties. I put her back in the diapers because after so many refusals and messes in her pull-ups, they are too expensive for her to not even try the potty at all. I worried about Jillian not walking--and now she's running everywhere so--just like Katie I'm sure we'll get there...some day!

    Well....no such success at my moms.....she can be a stubborn little cuss sometimes!!! But I realize it can take some time and like Katie and Jenn, I know it will happen eventually...I really had just hoped for a break through. I think we have....I just have to work on getting her more comfortable at it.

    I've been letting her run around naked, she seems to get really tense like this when she has to go so I;m trying to read her and get her on it.

    We'll keep at it

    Maybe it won't be long! At least she shows some interest. Something that worked with my oldest was letting him pick out his underwear. He was so proud of his underwear that the accidents mostly stopped. I must say that even though it worked for him, it did not work for my other 2! It is worth a try!
