glad baby seems to b doing well hun xx sucks about him working and not being able to come tho xx my friend has a short cervix and she went to 36 weeks with the cerclage so hopefully it will help baby stay put for u hun xx
Haven't been on for a while. Where to start! Things are hectic... I had my obgyn appointment last week. 6 more vials of bloodwork, 2 urine tests, another pap smear and some lady part swabs later here I am! We picked the hb up on the doppler instantly (no anterior placenta!) at 170. I have an ultrasound in Brandon tomorrow morning, sometime in the next 2 weeks I'm going to Winnipeg (ill explain in a sec) and on the 28th to see the obgyn in Brandon again. Dustin is back to long hauling and can't come tomorrow :(
Anyways, I have to go to Winnipeg because my Dr thinks my cervix might be too short. So I have to get assessed and potentially get a cerclage. So we decided to tell everyone because it would get impossible to explain driving to Manitoba every week this month. So, that's where I am.

That's awesome that you got to listen to the heartbeat!! Sucky that he can't be with you on your next appointment. I hope that they can give you some answers about the short cervix.
Great news that placenta & heartbeat are good! I don't know much about a cerclage - I mean, I've read about it but never experienced having it or knew anyone that had to have it done - so sorry I am no help there. But it sounds like a good thing that they are evaluating you and seeing what needs to be done - better safe right? I hope your pregnancy continues to go well for you & baby.

so glad to read your update, i was only thinking yesterday i hadn't seen you on the forum and i was hoping everything was ok. I am pleased to read that you seem to be getting some good care during this pregnancy, even if it means travelling half way around the country side.
Good luck for your scan
