Thread: worried about infection

Not sure really. I would definitely get checked out by my doctor.

I was totally the same with Lily. Mine went on for around 12wks. I finally got the depo shot to make it stop!

As long as the bleeding doesn't come back red and it's old brown blood, you're just fine.

I have to say mine came back really heavy and red and clotty a few times. It would go away, go yellow, then come back super heavy again, it was so draining!

I had the same thing. Not heavy red bleeding (no cramping) at five weeks postpartum. I thought it was my period- but it wasn't. It sounds normal to me. But call your doc if you are concerned.

I was going to say something similar. I think mine was around 6 weeks. I had a period like something. If you are worried, I would call your dr.

My bleeding pretty much came and went for 6 weeks. My bleeding got its heaviest around 6 weeks. I called the doctor and they said it was totally normal. After that it stopped for good! I would call your doctor if you are concerned. By the way, I too was exclusively breastfeeding.

Mine goes is spurts where some days it is very light and the next day it is really heavy. I remember this from after giving birth to Nathaniel too so I guess it is normal. You can always check with your doc to be sure though. At least that way you wouldn't worry!

I had bleeding every colour of the rainbow after giving birth to tahli...it lasted 2wks... then 28days after havn her I got my period back and it came every 28 days for 19 months, now im preggo again :-)
