Those names are nice, especially Yasmin, very beautiful. I have never heard Daoud though :)
After much squabbling my hubby and I picked names for a boy and a girl. He got to pick the first name for a girl and I got to pick a first name for a boy. Middle names are not traditional but he agreed to compromise since it is for me, so he picked the middle name for a boy and I picked it for a girl. Just wanted to share them.
Yasmin Nour (some spell it Noor:means light)
Daoud Mohammed (It's his grandpa's name in reverse)
My hubby loves the name Yasmin (Jasmine) and I picked Nour cause I love it and what it means -light. I picked Daoud because it is the arabic form of David, and David and Goliath is my favorite story! He picked Mohammed cause it's his grandpas name, he was a wonderful man, and it ended up his grandpa is named Mohammed Daoud, so it's the name in reverse!
Many places Nour is spelled Noor and Daoud is spelled Dawud but in Algeria it is Nour and Daoud (it varies cause it's just transliteration from Arabic script-in Arabic script they are all spelled the same way).
Okay got it out of my systerm!![]()
