Thread: Let the name wars begin!!

well i am dying to know what the names are that you picked and what DP picked :)

Ok well there was a HUGE list, on my part anyway, but my absolute favourites are Evie/Eva, Ellie/Ella and Lexi. With Grace as a middle name. Then for a boy, Jacob, Jack or Ethan, with William as a middle name after my Dad.
DP likes Kate (which I also like, but his ex's daughter was called that and I find that weird!) or Michelle for a girl and Raife for a boy.
So far, the only one that he will tolerate off my list is Aimee, but my middle name is Amy, so I'm a bit dubious about that!

I love all of yours and honestly i dont like any of his ..lol.. well i do like kate but you are right that is weird. i am not being biased here either :)

Thankyou Meg!! I have a while to work on him at least! I keep saying I'm the one that has to carry this baby for 9 months and go through all the pain of labour, so I'm the one that has more of a say in naming him/her, but he's not buying it!

lol , when me and df first started talking about baby name ... whoooo the wars did begin but i think with time ... you will come to find some names that you both like . good luck . I think Amiee is cute !

Good luck picking a name!!!! Maybe you could create a list of your top 10 and then he can cross out which ones he doesn't like, but only up to 8 names?? and then vice versa? then put those left over in a hat and draw one!!! Then start the yes or no together from that name.

That's a really good idea Kristi! Think I will hang onto the hope that he will come round for a little longer, but that is something I will definitely suggest if we stuill can't agree!

Ok, little bit of an update. We have discovered that we both like the name Ryan - for a girl.....what does everyone think??? The only names we can agree on at the moment are that and Aimee, so we are thinking Aimee Ryan or Ryan Aimee. Now for the boy................
