Thread: The Silly Name Game

You know how the Beckhams named their son after the place where he was conceived, and this prompted a whole run of jokes like "at least he wasn't conceived in Snodbury" or "I hope they don't conceive their next one in Pratt's Bottom"?

Well, my DH and I have been playing a game trying to come up with unlikely names for our bean!

The rules are:
1) There has to be a reason behind the name
2) The name has to be a name that somebody might actually call a child (well, that allows for pretty much anything!!)

So, for example, my entries so far have been:

If we named it after where it was conceived, we'd have to call it Farnborough.

If we named it after the day we got the bfp, (Palm Sunday) we could call it Hosanna.

If we named it after the saint's day on its due date, it would be called Valerick!

I'm not doing very well in the game so far, since Hosanna and Valerick are actually not very unlikely names...

Anyone else bored and want to play?
