    Default My 14 week ultrasound!!

    Hey all !!
    First off, I just want to say thank you to everyone for the encouragement. I know I was worried about this appt but I had no reason to be!

    My appt went great! The babies are fine and dandy! One wouldn't stay still, it was so funny! Their heartbeats are 153 and 161, so they are doing great. I'm sooo relieved! Now, I feel like for once I can stop worrying about this pregnancy and start enjoying the fact that we're going to have twins!!! My next appt is at 18 weeks on February 8th, 3 days after my b-day so, I'm praying we will find out the sexes!! That would be a great birthday present!! Here's my ultrasound picture... my OB had a hard time trying to get them together LOL.

    You can see one at the top and the other one is under it. The one at the top was moving all over the place and the other was just kicking its little legs! Anyways, just thought I would share with you guys! Thanks so much for the support!!

    Awww. Jennie they look great!!! I am so glad you had a healthy happy scan!!! That would be a pretty cool B-Day present to find out the sexes!!!

    YEAH!!!!!! They look amazing Jennie!! I'm so glad that your appt. went well, (I knew it would ) and that you are feeling quite a bit of relief. Congrats on a great scan!

    Did you find out if they share the same sac or not? Are they identical or fraternal or do they know yet?

    I am glad you can relax now, they look great, enjoy the rest of your pregnancy. That will be a wonderful b day present. I will be exactly 21 weeks on my birthday, maybe i will get an early b-day present becasue i want to know the sex too.

    Hey, Kari!
    I asked him about the sac and placenta and he said it was too early to tell. He said that he will know by my next appt. Right now, though, he said they are too small to actually tell anything. I did ask that since they had 2 yolk sacs in the beginning, if they would have their own placentas, and he said that you would think they would, but that's not always the case. He said right now, it looks like they are sharing the same one, but he still said it's too soon to tell. So, I should know by my next appt for sure!!
