Id maybe mention it to either your doc or midwife, they might be able to suggest something to help for you.
Hope it gets better soon for you hun
Im finding every day chores are giving me problems.. Like doing dishes, laundry, ect..
Reason is my lower back and sometimes my upper back.. it lights up like its on fire and the pain gets bad.. Any ideas to relieve this pain? Ive got a pregnancy support belt.. its not helping much.. I also tried lifting my leg with a stool while doing dishes.. its not helping much..

I have also been suffering from constant lower back pain. I find that walking around can help also if you have to stand still try to stand with your feet a bit pidgeon-toed and your tail bone tucked under (like you have a heavy tail) I heard about it on the Baby channel and it can help in the short term. Good luck
Do you have a heat pad or wheat pack? Those are handy, heat is great for the back and will mould to your body for the pain. I have posted how to make these in the past. Here it is:
Another thing that might help is wheat packs. Have you used these? I actually make mine myself and they are very easy and come in handy for just about any ache and also great for labour pain. Go to your health shop and buy some organic whole wheat grains(probably need a couple of kilos) and sew up a rectangular bag (any size of shape you want to suit the area). I often make mine long so I can drape it around my neck or wrap around my lower back. Fill with organic wheat (you can also add a little dried lavender if you wish, smells great when heated) about 3/4 fill the bag. Sew up the hole. Heat in the microwave for about 2-3mins depends on your microwave. Just watch it, if you leave it in too long it can get extremely hot and may burn you. Once warm put it where you want. I also make little ones that you can heat and put on your head for headaches.
I hope it gets better soon Ivy.![]()

I had totally forgotten about those! My husbands aunt makes them only out of mens socks..LOL I'll have to borrow one from her! I think i might try one of those patches too that you can buy at the pharmacy and its a hot patch like icy hot or something and its suppose to relieve pain.. DH has used them in the past and says htey work..

Those are wonderful!! usually when the lower back is hurting its because your not standing in a correct allignment!!! I think the heat packs should help!!! Good luck!
