    Unhappy what a scary night

ok girls let me explain my scary night i had last night maybe someone else been through it and can tell me what the hell was going on with me.

ok last saturday i was in the shower and i got really light headed, dizzy, my body was shaking. i ahd the bathroom door open the shower door open and the vent on and i turned the water to cool and i still felt very weird oh and my heart started racing. so i stuck my head out of the shower and after like i would say 3 minutes everything went back to normal. and it hasnt happened again till last night.

no its 7 o'clock in the evening and me and the b/f where in shop rite getting dinner. i was leaning on a wall lookin at the lyer and all of a sudden my heart started racing again. i felt dizzy, light headed, i got very hot, my body was shaking, i felt like i was gonna faint and my vision went blurry. i told my b/f to feel my heart and he did. he told me to count to 10 while he counted my heartbeats he said it was 200 heartbeats every 10 seconds. this lasted for 5 minutes then it finally went bac to normal and i didnt feel faint nomore so we continued on with our shopping. at about 7:45 i would say it happened again this time i new that my heart was gonna start beating fast this time it was 150 beats every 10 secs for i would say it lasted 3 minutes this time. so when my body went bac to normal i sat down this time and waited for him to finish shopping. now while all this is goin on i can feel my little one moving inside of me on and off like normal. so we get home we cook dinner and now we finished eating and we r resting nthe couch watching a movie and its about 9:30 i would say and it happened again but for only 2 minutes this time and not as bad. so i lay completly down on my bac and continue watching my movie. its now 11 and it happened again but this time it was like the frist time in shop rite it was a bad one. it finally stopped after 5 minutes and now i feel the baby moving alot. from 11 to like 12:30 she moved consisently not normal to me she finally slowed down at like 1 and then no movement at 2 when i went to sleep.

so i wake up this moring and my body feels all briused on the inside but everything else was normal no racing heart. so i called the doc to find out wat that was and i had to explain it to the nurse as the doc was in with a patient. i didnt explain everything all i told the nurse was i was having trouble with my heart it was beating real fast last night throughout the night. so she said she will have the doc cal me bac. the doc calls me bac and tells me to stay away from caffine as i do not drink soda or coffee i told him and he stil insisted i stay away from caffine and hung up i was real angry. he didnt even wanna hear wat had to say so he has put me in a real bad mood today cause i feel like he didnt even care. he is not my regular doc he is the other one in the same office as my doc but still. it couldve been something real bad i will never know but i know if it happenes again i will go to the hospital as it was a very scary thing i went through. has anyone gone through this before??? sorry for such a long post i didnt know how to explain it in a shorter way.

    Hey hun,
I has never happened when I was pregnant, but I have felt like that sometimes. I have actually passed out from that. I did feel that way when I was in the hospital delivering my twins. It could be your blood pressure dropping, which will cause your heart to race. My blood pressure fell really, really low and my heart was racing up to 175 bpm. I would definately make an appt with your doc. Can you see the other doc, not the one you called? You definately need to be seen about this. I hope you can find something out soon, hun!

Hey!! That sounds awfully scary. It sounds like Panic Attacks to me. I had them a few times but not when PG. It could also be blood pressure related. It was very rude and insensitive of your Dr. to not take it a bit more seriously know you don't drink caffine. I would get a second opinion.

In the mean time, be very careful and if you feel something come on, try to take some deep breaths (in through your nose and slowly controlled out through your mouth) and calm yourself back down. I found w/ panic attacks that if I catch them as they are starting, I can control it and keep it from getting to that point you described.

Best of luck!! Don't be afraid to run yourself to the ER too....always better to be safe rather than sorry!!!

I have had simarlar things. It began about 15 weeks. I would suddenly get really hot and sweaty, my heart would begin to race and I would feel sick and like I was going to faint. I would need to sit down and breath slowly until it passed after about 5-10 mins. It had happened a few times since. I told my midwife about it and she said that it could be a drop in blood pressure or sugar level and that I should eat breakfast as soon as I woke up. Since then I have been ok, it has not happened for awhile.

Everytime i'm in the grocery store I get hot and dizzy and faint... My friend actually did pass out in the grocery store because of how bad the heat is down here. She ended up passed out on the floor and hit her head. She got to take a ride in an ambulance due to it. .

I'd call my drs office back and demand to be listened to. Thats not right how they did you. Your concerns should be heard..

I'm so sorry you were feeling so bad. And then to top it off the doc pretty much ignored u. It only happened to me in the beggining of my pregnancy. I was dizzy alot and my heart raced but after about 10 weeks it stopped. If it happens again be sure to go to the ER just in case. I'd rather be safe then sorry

Glad you are going to the docs. That was going to be my suggestion. Also glad you don't have much longer to go. I know when I was 6 days before my due date, I was having those problems. And, not to scare you, they were worried about pre-eclampsia. Hopefully, you do not have anything remotely like that. Best of luck!!!! Hope the rest of your pregnancy goes quickly!!

something similar happened to me but i had just got finished getting my wisdom teeth pulled i was very shakey after the procedure so the dentist lady said did i wanna lay there for a little longer i said no i will be fine. so has i head to the car before i even get to the door i start sweating, my vision goes blurry, and everything around me goes quite and my ears start ringging. it was a very cool day so i make it outside the door and lean against the building as im standing its getting worse so i sit down on the cold ground and start taking deep breathes by this point i was short of breathe i think this went on for about 3 minutes which seemed like forever. my mom has bad anxiety attacks and i told her about my symptoms and she said it sounded like i had an attack but i have never had this problem before why now? its only happened twice since then and they were not has bad has the first so i havent told my doc, but on the other hand should i tell my doc even though they are not happen has often?
