    Default Just a question.

Well before I ask my question I suppose I should say HELLO because I am new here.
Now, to my question. I want to have a baby. It is definitely too early for it to show on the test so I have no choice but to wait (which is very very hard!) but last night I felt unusually sick. I'm not one to get sick, either. Although it is much too early to tell, do you think that maybe this is a chance of pregnancy?

    to Ashley.

If you have had unprotected relations with someone then I am guessing you could be pregnant. You said it is too early. I think for the other ladies here you may want to give a little more info. I have never been pregnant, nor am I able to conceive. My DH and I are adopting so I am not the best for advice on whether the sickness last night may be pregnancy related or not but one of the other ladies may be able to help.

I just wanted to take a minute to say Hello and Welcome.

    Hiya!!
    welcome to

sickness is a good sign for pregnancy.

i found that before i was trying for a baby i never had strong period symptoms but as soon as i started trying i noticed alot of symptoms about 2 weeks before i came on.The symptoms that i got were actually period symptoms and not pregnancy symptoms as i got my period. i just noticed them alot more. what i am trying to say to you is that pregnancy symptoms are very alike to period symptoms, there is a very thin line between the two.
but every womans body is different so it might be different for you.
but being sick is not a usuall symptom for a period.

    I hope you are pregnant

    hugs and loads of

    Thanks for replying!
My period isn't even due until the 18th of July, and when I got the sickness it just felt really weird. The sickness was only two days after the fact, so as I said far too early, but I'm just not one to get sick and it just feels really weird. And another thing I noticed, it only happened today, but I'm getting cramps that are period like, only slightly milder, but, as I said, my period isn't due yet.

Hi, Ashley. to Baby Talk Zone!

The sickness can start anytime after conception, so it is possible that it is from being pregnant. Normal cramps can be more noticeable when you are trying to conceive, but can also be a sign of pregnancy. The best way to know is to show up positive on a home pregnancy test.

If your cycle is normal and the standard 28 days, then most likely you have not ovulated yet. You can ovulate at any time during your cycle, so if it is an abnormal month, then it is possible you are pregnant. Have you been charting or using an ovulation prediction kit?

    Sending tons of your way!
