    Question Potty question for boys

So, W is doing great making it to the toilet when he has to go, but I've noticed something, I'm not sure if it's normal or not. When W goes to pee, he doesn't pee it all out, he'll pee, run back to playing, 5 minutes later he's back to pee. He doesn't act like anything hurts, he just seems to be more preoccupied in playing? Does this sound normal to you?

Jaxon did that not too long ago, I was worried it was a bladder issue or something, but he stopped doing it after a week. It kind of seems like a boy thing, my boys are bad for stuff like that. They wait until the last possible minute because they're too preoccupied. As long as he isn't complaining about anything or having accidents, I would assume everything is okay.

Thanks, no real accidents, except yesterday he pooped on himself, but he hasn't gotten the poop part down yet. But no pee accidents in almost 48 hours.

Hope he gets the poop part figured out soon!

TMI, but Adrian had a really hard time with that, even as he got older!! It was because he thought he could just hold it as long as his show was over, or he was done playing, and we dealt with poopie undies up until he was about 4, it was horrible!!!!

Yay, last night he finally pooped in the potty...still 0 pee accidents...How and when do you start night time training? He throws major fits when I put a diaper on him at night, even with a pull up he fusses about it.

Good for him with zero pee accidents!!!

We used a pull up at naptime/bedtime for a couple weeks, and we only took them away if they were successful for a week being dry, which they were. If he's been dry waking up, you could go ahead and put him in regular undies for the night.

Thanks...so far with naps his diaper have been totally dry. Night time is a different story, they aren't soaked to say, but are somewhat wet.
