Thread: Toddler Groups!

Hi all,

Thought I would ask if anyone on this forum goes to a toddler group and if you do what kind of things do you do there?

(a toddler group is usually a place for parent to go with their small child, usually under 5yrs or in some groups under 3's, for a morning or afternoon session. Reason to go...get to know other parents, child gets to do social things like playing, colouring, painting, etc.)

The main reason I ask is because i really want to know what toddler groups are like all over the world!!! Maybe some of you have never heard of such a thing...maybe we could pass around ideas on how to run a group or how to start one???

Anyway, would be nice to hear from you all...all the same!

In Australia we have many toddler groups
-Play group
-Kinder gym
-Child-care
-Toddler gym

They do many experiences which help your childs development and there social interactions with others and the parent meets new people at the same time.

My favourite is water play!!! Messy but so much fun
