    Default Baby Registry...

I know that some form of this thread has been done before - but i'm having my baby shower Aug 10th, and i need to know what are those things that you can't live without with a baby and things the i need to register for.

I've got a crib and matress, swing, high chair, and playpens.
Of course i know i'll need diapers, wipes, and clothes, and bottles

    what else?

P.S. - this is what i've registered for so far @ Babies r Us- let me know if there's anything i don't need or if you see something i need to add- if you got a minute to peek in at it.

I registered for anything and everything I thought I could possibly need. If I didn't get some things, I would return stuff that I didn't want and buy what I did. I don't think you can go wrong. Just start at one end of the store and work your way around!

COMPLETELY different stuff in my opinion! You seriously don't want to get doubles of everything and have to return all of it. A few things here and there is ok, but you won't want to worry about it. Most people don't give gift receipts I found and starting soon (don't remember the date) Babies R Us won't take anything back PERIOD without a receipt.

I would register for totally different stuff at 2 different places. THink of feeding stuff for when the baby is older, sippy cups spoons, bowls, GAS drops, a play mat, exersauser or jumper

Do you have a changing table and changing pad with a couple of covers? Also, burping cloths, diaper pail, bath toys, and portable bath tub.

I have a bath tub - but i do need bath toys

I would LOVE to have a changing table - but i don't have room for it in the room that will be a nursery - So baby will be changed on our bed or something.

OK, I didnt read through this entire thread, but ill make a few suggestions, just incase no one else suggested it.

So, I would say maybe a few hooded towels. We got lots of those for our shower.
Stuff like penatene creme, baby shampoo/soap, powder
    Clippers for babies..
Maybe a mirror for inside the car, cause the car seat will probably be facing teh rear.. So a mirrir will be good to see the baby from the drivers side
Maybe car shade for the windows
    Receiving blankets and wash cloths.

That's all I can think of now..
