    Default favorite freezer meals

What are your favorite freeze-ahead meals? Recipes? I told my sister she should make as many as possible and it'd be nice to have a thread to come back to before I have baby.

I don't really have favorites but I posted this in another thread:

"Here are some sites. If I find more, I will post them also. The first one is for a dairy free and gluten free diet.

Gluten Free Dairy Free April 2012 Menu | OAMC from Once A Month Mom

WHOLE FOODS April 2012 Menu | OAMC from Once A Month Mom

And there are many more on the "Once a month mom" site.

    Here are others:

Freezer Cooking | Ring Around the Rosies

Journey of a Home-schooling, Transracial, Foster Family

What's Cookin, Chicago?: FREEZER FRIENDLY / MAKE AHEAD MEALS

You can also make some smoothies ahead of time. Put all the ingredients in a Baggie and then when it is time, add milk or ice cubes and blend. Great for make ahead snacks.

Another tip is to make soup and freeze in muffin tin. Once frozen, they can be put into a Baggie. These are great if you are looking for individual portions, or a quick lunch.

Here is another site with fantastic recipes and she tells you what to do in order to freeze the food.

    Enjoy!"

Spagetti bolognase and most pasta dishes are easy ones. As is chilli too then you just need to do rice or a jacket potato. Most beef type dishes like casseroles etc are ace frozen and currys too.

Oooh, this is a good thread, because I need to start doing this kind of stuff when we're really busy.

The only thing that we've ever really frozen was macaroni casserole and lasagna.

For us it's cottage pie, lasagne, bolognaise and chilli, casseroles and stews (depending on weather), corned beef hash.
