Wow!Glad Tommy is just fine, definately had little angels looking out for him!Congrats again:)
Ok...here goes...
Wed morning I had a dr appt. My nurse was joking around that she would tell the dr i had high bp so they would send me in to have Tommy. Well when she took it, it was 134/104. My urine also had protien in it. My dr went ahead and checked me and I was still not dialated, thined or anything!
He sent me to L&D to get checked out. I wasnt feeling well and my urine showed 13,000 in protien which i guess is really high. They checked me again and said that there was no way my cervix was going to do anything. My other Dr.. made it sound like she was sending me home, I got a little upset. Another dr came in and said "so do you want to go for the induction"?
I guess I didnt understand as i thought i was being sent home. They then explained to me my cervix was so high, thick and long and closed that I could be there with Pitocin until May and probally still wouldnt have a baby. All of this was at NOON!
By 12:30 I was scheduled for a CSection, by choice and taken off to get ready. At 420 they brought me into the OR.
The spinal didnt work at first and hurt like HE**. I had a bleed so it took awhile for them to get that sorted before they could get down to Tommy. When they finally did....THE CORD WAS AROUND HIS NECK TWICE AND KNOTTED IN 2 SPOTS!
If i would have had a vaginal birth, Tommy wouldnt have made it, nor would he have made it too much longer inside of me. Someone sure was watching out for our little boy!![]()
My incision is rather long but looks great. Because of the cord issue they needed it bigger. It hurts pretty bad today, but I would do it all over again in a heartbeat!
Ill post more pics of him now![]()

Congrats again to you and Tom!
I'm so glad everything turned out
How is Tom doing since the baby is here?
I'm glad to hear things went well in the end and little Tommy is here safe and sound. He's a tall little guy, and I was surprised at how long he was... Wow, expect a 6-footer. That's crazy that one of the doctors was going to send you home when you were obviously preeclamptic. I hope your recovery goes well and can't want to see more pictures of your beautiful little boy!
