Thread: Birth vid - would ya.

I wouldn't of with my vaginally birth as it would have put me and millions of others off,plus I don't think I would of wanted to. However would of videoed my c sections for family viewing only,they were relaxed affairs and I wasn't horrendous looking after hours and hours of labour lol!! Not sure I would want to youtube things though,but I am not that sort of person anyhow too private.

Not for me either. Can't imagine anything worse lol.

no no no no no no. Non! There is absolutely no power on earth that could get me to allow a camera in the room and if by some craziness (like head trauma) I decided to, there is no way it would end up on the internet!!

Yes!! I wanted to but the camera had to stay at my head and was NOT allowed to show anything down there. I still even wanted it taped during my c-section but the hospital doesn't allow that.
I have a horrible habit of blocking out big moments in my life, like I do not remember opening up one single gift at my bridal and baby shower nor do I remember walking down the aisle to my DH.

Absolutely not!!! In fact, when my SIL was giving birth to her first, my MIL took a lot of pictures...then showed them to everyone!!!!!!! OMG!!! I already told DH, if she or anyone comes anywhere near me with a camera of any kind, they will be flashing every time they fart...for the rest of their lives!!

I'd be much more willing to let someone film a c-section than vaginal birth.

Honestly, I wish I had a video of mine but only for me to watch....no one else....especially the twin one.

Part of me says no, part of me says yes, but if I ever did, it would be for my viewing only, not youtube. I highly doubt the boys would want to see that ever either, haha.

I did have a camera in the room for my first, and there were tons of pics taken right after Adrian was born, and there was the shot with my legs open and you can see my crothch, shame as it was a cute picture too, it was me looking up at DH with a newborn Adrian on my chest.

I would actually love to have videos of my births... JUST FOR ME, though! The only problem I would have is that I don't want dh to be all involved in videoing, b/c I need him... and I don't want anyone else in the room, so... no vids. No big deal though, I just think it would be kinda neat to look back at to remember the moment of birth...
