Thread: Introducing Dairy Products

I started giving Ella baby custard when she was about 6 months, and yogurt when she was about 7-8 months old... she's only just started having whole milk since she turned 1 though...

I was the same. Adrian had custard at 6 mos and around 9 months we started introducing more dairy. He took whole milk in his bottle just after he turned 1.

OMGosh!!!!!!! That means Trevor's 8 months tomorrow, too. Oh, no!!! That's so sad! lol

Trevor eats Gerber's Banana Yogurt, but I don't know the similarities between that and other yogurts and dairy. Wish I could be more helpful!

i was wondering too! i know you can't substitute cow's milk for breast/formula until 1yr but i wasn't sure whether to hold off on all dairy because of risks of allergies. i think i might start to introduce yogurt because we have no history of allergies in our family.

I dont know if its the same over the world, but we have kids yoghurts and they start from 6 months.

Meg has yoghurts and cheese and is fine, wont be doing proper milk till at least 1.

I was told no dairy until 12months!

BUT I tried Atahlia on baby custard about a month ago and like me she is minorly lactose intolerant! she can handle my breast milk but anything more then that and she gets the runs and gut pains!
