Thread: My Love Puppy.

So sweet! She's very pretty.

We adopted a rescue puppy too this past April. She wasn't a pup...she was 7 years old and a Boxer/Beagle mix. We had been looking at this big ol pure breed boxer but he didn't like our 2 year old son....so the shelter asked us to consider Danielle (Dani). She had been there a while not because she was a problem but because of her age. Guess no one wants an older dog. Minute we met her we knew she was coming home with us that day. She's been awesome...no jumping on people, totally housebroken, no furniture damage/chewing....snuggles with our cat (also a rescue). She's a great watch dog as she alerts us to any changes/visitors at our door...but I don't have to worry about her hurting friends that come in. I feel alot more comfortable home alone (when Dh works nights or doubles) with her to warn me.

I think "pound" puppies are the best! I wish more people would consider adoption before they go buy a dog. Thanks for sharing your pictures! Gonna go give my girl a hug now!
