When does it settle down

The hormones etc.

My boobs are still so sore.

Also how long did you bleed for with a d&c, it keeps stop and starting and the cramps are quite bad at times, is this normal.

sorry you're still having a rough time hun....for me it settled down really quickly after the d & c. but with my last i opted to let it pass naturally and bled off and on for almost 3wks......hopes it settles really soon and you can move on......i think your body doesn't realize right away that you've lost so it takes sometime to catch up....that just makes it a bit harder......

Sorry I missed this post Em. Give it another week or so, and you'll probably find you'll feel physically 'recovered'. It can take a while for your body to catch up with things. If the bleeding doesn't completely stop, it wouldn't hurt to mention it to the doctor, but hopefully it will settle down over the next few days. x

I bled for 3 weeks after my d&c. I hope it all stops for you soon, hun.

I went through my D/C on 8/8/07.I bleed and had cramps for 3 weeks.A little brown spotting here and there.Then my cycle started about 2 1/2 weeks after that.I felt pregnant through the first 3 weeks .I was 12 weeks 4 days when I had my D/C.

Today I was thinking about my baby alot.I was due the end of January,and now Iam trying to get pregnant again.Seems like a cruel dream.It took me 7 mths to get pregnant with this last one.I keep thinking I will not get pregnant again until March or April.

Seems like a long time to go,then 9mths to carry.It will be a while to get to hold our angel baby.My issue was a chormsome defect.Its little heart just stopped.

I'm so sorry for your loss. As for your questions I'm really not sure. My baby was stillborn, so I didn't have a D&C, but my breasts were sore for a few weeks. I kept a bra on constantly for about a month, that may help. Again so sorry.
