I got him measured at clarks and he was size 11
I went to this shop (pushy sales assistant) and he tried on the sketchers hotlights in size 11 and with a little push they fitted.
Im now wondering, should I have gone for a 12 to get them to last longer, or do you guys buy the exact correct size where shoes are concerned?

Bet you didn't know....that I am my husband's THIRD wife! Yep, DH was married twice before me. His first marriage (to his kids' mother) ended when she left him because she was "too young to be a wife and mother". And his second marriage lasted just a little over year....and he will be the first to admit that he jumped into that one WAY too fast (he whole relationship was less than two years from start to finish). Do you have things in your house like smoke/fire alarms? Fire extinguishers? Do you work with your little one (who understands) about how to get out of the house and where to go in case of a fire?

We have alarms in every room of the house and have 2 fire extinguishers that are kept up to date. I know they work with kids in school on fire safety, but a plan is always a good thing, I'm seeing so many people die in house fires these days and think it should be important to teach our kids how to get out and get help. Initially, I didn't want to do a Halloween theme since she really doesn't know what is going on anyway and I wanted the focus to be her birthday and not costumes or well... Halloween. But now I'm having second thoughts because I loveeeeee Halloween and it would be so awesome to go full out and decorate for it. We could have neat snacks and fun decorations, but I'm still wondering if I should "save" that kind of party for when she is older. I am probably going to have her party on the 31st because its a Sunday. I will probably do it around noon until maybe 3 so her little friends (and so she can) go out trick or treating in the early evening. I'm going to ask my friends to see if they have other plans that day though to make sure people can actually come, otherwise, I will have it the day before. ANYWAY, what would you do? Would you have a Halloween costume party, or just a regular party?
