I'm 18 wks along with my twins today. I went to my regular ob last Wed for my regular visit my bp is still high so he added another prescription to the one I already was on (Labetalol 400 mg twice daily) and now gotta take Aldomet 250mg four times daily. <----I really hate the one he just put me back on it makes me sooooo sleepy! Plus trying to remember to take it at the right times... but if it'll help so be it. Just makes it hard to work. They gave me an ultrasound to be able to hear both babies heartbeats clearly and one is 149 bpm and the other is 158 bpm so they said that was good and just going by looks they seem to be growing good, but they didn't do any actual measurements because they're sending me to a perinatologist this Thursday and they're supposed to check the babies out closer and so on. They really didn't tell me much. :worried:
They told me they were sending me to this perinatologist because I am pregnant with twins and my bp so I'm a high risk pregnancy. Has anyone ever been to a perinatologist? Just kinda wondering what to expect and trying to not worry about it. Also hoping maybe I can find out what my babies are they tried to look last week while listening to their heartbeats but neither would cooperate. As of right now Baby A is vertex and Baby B is breeched.
