Ideas for telling DH?

I hope we both get a on Valentine's day, that is when I'm planning to test aswell!

I like the lipstick one........HILARIOUS!

Whenever I do eventually get my I'm going to bring my DH to where we first met and got engaged(the beach, I'm going to write it in the sand). I know how corny and soppy of me but it'll be our first and I want it to be so special......please let it be valentines day, we've been TTC (officially) 10months but more like 2 years of letting nature take its course and when it happens it happens appraoch! Now we're getting treatment-this is month one and I shouldn't have my hopes up but I totally do!

i always wanted to tell dh in a special way, but both times consisted of me waking him up saying "omg do you see a line" . we did get Serenity a shirt that said im going to be a big sister to tell fam.

Yeah, the last time was not so romantic. DH had left to go pick up the kids and I called him on his cell phone and said, "Um, I'm pregnant."

yeah i was gonna say put the test in a bracelet box with a big red bow on it put it in he bathroom droor or somethig or dresser drawer ask him to got get what ever for you with a card or sumfin

Hahaha girl, that sounds like me...except I was speechless, lol (in a shocked, but very happy way). I basically stumbled out into the hallway, looked at DH and just handed him the test. A minute later I was smiling and crying and hugging him and he is grinning from ear to ear and goes "You alright, kid?"

Anyway, I think Terri's idea is super cute, about dinner. I also like the fortune cookie idea...they have like jumbo size chocolate fortune cookies you can put messages in, but the downside is, you'd have to order it in advance.

I don't know if it's already been suggested, but you could get a little giftbag and put some baby items in it (diaper, washcloth, rattle, whatever will fit) and put on the bottom of the bag [for the father to be] or something like that. :)
