BFP?? TLP?? Paranoia?
Hello all...
So I've not seen AF since the miscarriage (about 4 weeks and a bit ago), but have had the occasional  , not thinking much of it, as I have no idea what my cycle is doing at the moment.Today, on a hunchy-whim, I bought a HPT and it shows the faintest line ever. Super faint. Scrunch your eyes and stand in the sunlight faint, but there nonetheless. I know they say a line is a line, but how faint is too faint? And how long do you think I should wait before I retest it? If I am preggers again, would the line darken in just a couple of days? Honestly, it's so soon after the m/c that I'm not even sure how to feel at this point. (Besides terrified, excited, scared, guilty and a whole other host of emotions!) I'm thinking there should be an acronym called TLP, for Timid Little Positive, because this one sure isn't a  !!!

I hope this is your sticky bfp! I definitely would wait 3 or 4 days and test again. Did you rule out leftover hcg in your system, by taking a hpt a week or so ago to make sure it showed up negative? I hate to bring it up, but it can take some women several weeks for the hcg level to go back to zero.

oooh- another thought....
The blood tests show that my hormone levels went back down, but do you think it's possible that since I haven't had AF, there's still some hormone rolling around in there? Sorry- I know how crazy that sounds, but I'm a potentially-notforsure-reasontobelievei'mpregnant-woman on the edge!

Ha- BabyB you read my mind. I didn't take another test, but my doctor said it had gone down to zero, but doctor's can be wrong, right? I think I'll hold off telling DP until I test again- don't want to put him through any of this business again!

oh hun i hope this is your bfp! if the dr said your levels were down to 0 then it should be it! either way i'd call your dr just to be sure..and i hope you don't have any more emotional rollercoasters. crossing my fingers for you!
